Every great boxer moves with purpose — and it all starts from the ground up. Mastering Movement focuses on the foundation of boxing: your feet. Through targeted footwork drills, you’ll learn to control distance, find rhythm, and stay balanced in every exchange. This program teaches you how to move with confidence, so your power, precision, and defense all rise from a solid base beneath you.

Chapter 1: Fundamentals of Footwork

  • Drill 1 – Six Different Ways to Move Your Feet
  • Drill 2 – Jab Six Different Ways with Bounce
  • Drill 3 – Double Jab, Move on the Second Jab
  • Drill 4 – Four Punches, Four Different Ways
  • Drill 5 – Non-Stop Punches in Any Direction

Chapter 2: Rope Drill – Light on Your Feet

  • Drill 1 – Side to Side
  • Drill 2 – Forward and Back
  • Drill 3 – Put It Together
  • Drill 4 – Add Pivots and Put It Together

Chapter 3: Weighted Shuffle – Transfer of Weight

  • Drill 1 – Shuffle + Pivots
  • Drill 2 – Add One Punch
  • Drill 3 – Add Three Punches
  • Drill 4 – Add Three Punches + Head Movement

Chapter 4: Ring Movement

  • Drill 1 – Forward, Back, Pivot
  • Drill 2 – Forward, Back, Pivot + Lateral
  • Drill 3 – Circling

Chapter 5: Bag Footwork Drill

  • Drill 1 – Forward and Back Shuffle
  • Drill 2 – Shuffle + Lateral or Pivot
  • Drill 3 – Shuffle + Pivot + One Punch
  • Drill 4 – Shuffle + Pivot + Four Punches

Chapter 6: Half Step Integration

  • Drill 1 – Footwork Only (Shadowboxing)
  • Drill 2 – Footwork then Counter (Shadowboxing)
  • Drill 3 – Footwork as You Counter (Shadowboxing)
  • Drill 4 – Put It All Together (Shadowboxing)
